The Bradley food court was in a state of civil war. White employees were engaged in an epic battle with black employees for control over the coveted radio in the managers' office.For years the black employees held exclusive control of the radio, blaring rap music throughout the entire student center. That is, until a new hope emerged for the white employees.
He was only a sophomore when he was hired, but his love for classic rock was stronger and more powerful than the other white employees, even the ones in their 40's and 50's. The white employees soon rallied around him and struck back.
At first it was a series of covert operations in which an employee would sneak back when the managers weren't in their office and change the radio station, but as their support grew, so did their boldness. They even started talking to the managers about equal play time for their beloved rock.
While the black employees still hold power, the scales are slowly tipping in their direction. Only time will tell if this young white employee can regain control of the radio and restore classic rock to the student center once and for all...

haha, racism? my co-workers and me get along great. we joke about stuff like this all the time.
interestingly, all the black people I work with are way less sensitive about race than most white people i know
PS - today we listened to 95.5 at work. it was great
I wish they wouldn't blast any loud music at all. I've stopped going into the student center or buying food there because it was annoying to have to shout over the radio to be heard. Go ahead and tell the managers - I'm not buying anything there until they turn the radio down to a normal level. k? thanks.
