It's the thought that counts!

OK, so my roommmate Ryan just came back from Christmas shopping. He wasn't gone for very long, so I asked him "What did you get?"

He replied, "Gift cards."

Then we shared a good laugh about how gift cards are what you get when you just don't want to put any effort into buying someone a gift. It's funny, but true.


Unfortunately I still haven't gone Christmas shopping yet. But, thanks to the gift card, and the invention of the Internet, I can get my family gifts they will moderately like, all without having to leave the house.
