OK, so lately I seem to be hearing a lot about leadership, how important it is to train and build leaders and most importantly to be a leader. Leadership seems to get such a high priority these days, but what about servitude? A room full of 500 leaders won't get anything done.Keep it real,

Check out John Maxwell's 360 degree Leader. You can lead from the middle, or, even if only one person is watching or following you, you are a leader of sorts. The idea is to do everything with excellence as our Lord would have us do.
Likewise, a room full of 500 people withouth leaders will only wander aimlessly.
Leadership and servitude are not mutually exclusive. Great leaders in the body of Christ are serving the people they lead through the expression of their spiritual gift of leadership.
Charlie you're absolutely right. I just wonder if sometimes we emphasize leadership too much and servitude not enough. I mean, which would you rather have at your disposal, 500 people who want to lead, or 500 people who want to serve?

it seems like everyone is wanting to prune leaders for the future, but nobody wants to actually serve.
yeah, we need leaders. but it seems our society likes to have too many chiefs and not enough indians.
