First, did anyone feel the earthquake??? I was awake when it happened, and my walls were swaying back and forth and my bed rumbled. At first I thought it was wind, maybe a tornado, but everything was silent. Before I went back to bed I remember thinking "I wonder if I just experienced an earthquake....I'll check the news tomorrow morning." Sure enough it was! 5.2 on the Richter scale, to be exact.
Second, it turns out that I'm not the only server at the Olive Garden who gets in awkward situations with their customers. Yesterday I heard about a server who went up to a table and said, "It looks like someone got some sun today" to which the female patron replied, "No, I have Lupus." Well at least she tried...
