O Canada!

OK, so tonight I hung out with my friends and Brent while Jake packed for his upcoming trip. Tuesday morning Jake and Jason Wood are going on a road trip up to Canada so Jake thought it would be a good idea if we all sang the Canadian national anthem together.
I looked online and found a copy of "O Canada!" and played it over my speakers. There in the living room we all stopped what we were doing and took a moment to honor our northern neighbors. Some sang, others just stood there with their hand over their heart, but by the end of the song there was not a dry eye in the room. It was beautiful.

I'll leave you with a line from that glorious anthem. "God keep our land glorious and free, O Canada we stand on guard for thee." Amen to that.
